“People Didn’t Help Us, they Just Stared”: When you know it is f*cked up, but you do nothing anyway
I recall an incident that occurred 9 years ago in which I remained silent when I knew I should have said something. I link this experience to overall questions of how and why do so many folk in the USA, at least, remain silent when we know a social injustice is occurring right in front of their faces.
